What we store
When you create an account, we store your email, name, language preference and a password hash. Quiz answers, bookmarks, participation progress, notification settings and feedback support the corresponding features. Your browser also stores state needed for sign-in or your current visit.
Recommendations and connected accounts
Your quiz answers and the GitHub or Kaggle profiles you choose to connect help tailor recommendations. Connection credentials are encrypted, and you can disconnect them on the account page. When optional AI analysis is enabled, relevant quiz or participation information is processed by the configured model provider. Do not enter passwords, API keys or sensitive personal information in free-text fields.
Email choices
Registration does not automatically start a recurring email subscription. We send messages according to your settings after you subscribe or enable reminders through a clearly labelled bookmark action. You can turn reminders off in your account settings or use the unsubscribe link in an email. Delivery, bounce and complaint records help prevent duplicate messages and preserve your choices.
Usage measurement
We record events such as page visits, quiz activity, visible recommendations, bookmarks, participation progress and returns from email links to check features and improve recommendations. Random visit or recommendation identifiers can connect events; signed-in business actions may be linked to an account. Internal visit analytics truncate IP addresses. The site uses Vercel Analytics and also uses Google Analytics when configured.
Service providers
Hosting, storage and email delivery use services including Vercel, Neon and Resend; connected-account features use the platforms you authorize. They process the information needed to provide these features. Competition organizers operate their own websites, with their own data practices.
Access and deletion
Your account page lets you edit your profile, disconnect accounts, manage sessions or delete your account. Associated data follows the deletion rules of each store; an independent weekly-shortlist subscription must be unsubscribed separately. Necessary suppression records, operational logs and backups may remain to preserve opt-outs or diagnose problems.
